I used to sit at home wondering what it would be to love someone truly and
For them to love me
I thought of all kinds of things that happened to me
But love wasn’t one that I was able to see

Then my turn came and led me to thee
Our deep friendship led me on a path to eternal love,
You’re the one I can now no longer live without

This intense fiery blaze has taken over
Burning down the icy walls which surrounded me
Resilient cosy seal is what it has created
The zeal of true love, I’ve now awakened

The one I was afraid of, afraid to touch
Has now filled me with so much of love
Times have changed and so have I
All thanks to you
You kept me flying high

As I write this, I think of life
The Past, Our present and the life I’ve been dreaming of
One Soul, One Life, One Love
Everything I’ve dreamt of like a dove

I’ve come from the darkest fear to the brightest love
Everything I’ve asked for
Delivered from above
You’re everything to me, I hope you can see
Not even this poem can describe how much you mean to me…
