I'm quite forumphobic so the fact that I decided to sign up and post here is proof of my sincerity. For me, there were no dud stories in the issue of SW that I purchased from Fictionwise. I enjoyed them all, but my favourites were Ivor W Hartmann's Earth Rise (the word I'd use for the author's ending of the story is transcendence) and Paul Marlowe's The Resident Member (really loved the dry humour in this story).

We're busy working on a radio-play version of Marlowe's Resident Member so keep a look out for that.
And going through my submissions pile I see we have a new submission from Mr Hartman - so hopefully you'll be reading more of him soon.

Thanks for coming on and posting your opinion and thanks for a great story (also coming to a podcast near you soon) Wink

Thanks Bachard, and that was just the first chapter in what has grown become a serialised novel. So I hope you will enjoy the next like you did the first.

I'll be sending chapter two for your consideration to SW soon Joe.
