Sincere apologies to all the writers who have submitted stories and have not yet had a response.

If you submitted for Issue 6 and have not heard from us yet then it means that your stories have made into the shortlist and they are currently doing the rounds of our readers - final decisions are imminent.

If you submitted for Issue 7 we haven't started reading these stories yet.
We hope to get to them in the next 3 to 4 weeks.

Scary Sci-Fi competition finalists will be announced in the next few weeks.

Once again, sincere apologies - this is why we shut down submissions, it suddenly became apparent that we couldn't keep up with the backlog that has been slowing building up since Issue 1 - once we re-open our submissions in April we hope to have a response time of under two weeks.

Hello,

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I sent a snail mail submission to Something Wicked a few months ago. I just want to make sure it actually got there, not entirely trusting the mail from the U.S. to get all the way to South Africa and all.

Anyway, it was sent in mid-April, title was Forge of the Soul. Author: me, Jason Kahn.
